some highlights from LAart show

LAart show was a highlight of the weekend. but not the only one.

Bringing back Broaday

http://nightonbroadway.la was a success also. saw a few Broadway theaters (thanks to resident pass wristband, as the lines were outrageous), one contemporary dance show, one burlesque show, Aloe blacc live performance  (http://www.aloeblacc.com, who I already have seen at coachella last year, but why not?), had one sausage from my favorite sausage place in downtown http://www.bierbeisl-imbiss.com (which will satisfy all your sausage needs), and a taco from what Tommy pie refers to as a “healthy” taco place http://www.yelp.com/biz/casita-taco-al-carbon-los-angeles?utm_source=ishare (my second time here, and I liked it more than first time. my recommendation is shrimp taco with a hard shell)

that being said, if you didn’t have a chance to make it this year, they are already planning for 2017, which will be on January 28. I’m already looking forward to that, if I still live on Broadway by then.

but back to LAart show. http://www.laartshow.com. amazing art, great people watching, and a lot of fun. not to miss next year.

in case you’re looking for something to do in LA next weekend, here are my thoughts so far..

LA Art show is this weekend, I am going, and looking forward to that. http://www.laartshow.com/

(nothing on Friday, as Charlotte is having a surgery)

Saturday: some museums offer free admission http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/arts/culture/la-et-cm-museums-southern-california-free-20160104-story.html

i am especially excited about Huntington as I still haven’t been there. official free museum website http://www.freemuseumday.org/la.html

also, Saturday: night on broadway. haven’t looked at details yet, but last time it was really happening. as I live ON Broadway, and given the large scale of this event, i was worried about not having access to my building and parking garage, but this time they provided special access wristband for Broadway residents, which gives me access not only to my home, but all the events, theaters and performances without waiting in lines, which i want to take advantage of this time.

sunday: WhoWhatWear Target colab. http://www.whowhatwear.com/who-what-wear-target-collection-lookbook.

some pieces look ok, I might check that out if i wake up early enough. not a big deal if not. brands are overrated anyways.

these are my few things to look forward to so far.. please do share yours.
