this was happening across the street from me. people started lining up a night before

my own private rain

I’ll start this with my Friday’s LACMA rain room experience. with all the hype and sold out tickets, where you have to pay $40 per person ($20 for the rain room plus $20 for the general admission, which they make you pay when you buy your tickets online), it was kind of worth it. maybe just for the feeling of belonging to the world art scene, and the fact that you’ve seen something so “must see”, something that’s sold out, or for Instagram pictures pleasure. if your reason is the later, make sure to bring a photographer friend with you, you can thank me later.

GO: if you love sold out art exhibits and don’t mind your hair get wet a little

DON’T GO: if you wear high heels everywhere you go (they don’t allow them there) and are not on instagram (but this combination probably doesn’t exist)

on a separate note, have dinner at their restaurant. $18 burger is everything you want about a burger

on me: over the knee boots from eBay, skirt from Bloomingdales, Forever21 turtle neck sweater, Gap vest, Mango bag
